Semester winds down with two concerts

Two concerts will be presented before the end of spring semester at Kirkwood Community College.

On May 4, the Kirkwood Concert Chorale will present Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Gondoliers.” Both performances are under the direction of Ray Salucka, associate professor of vocal music.

The Kirkwood Concert Band will perform May 5. The band is directed by Beth Zamzow, assistant professor of music.

Both performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. in Ballantyne Auditorium.

Tickets for each event are $10 for adults, $5 for students and seniors. Kirkwood students, faculty and staff will be admitted for free with a valid ID.

Tickets will be available at the door.
