One of the many advantages that PC games offer over their console versions is the ability to install mods that improve the visual and playable experience. Among the various titles that have relied on mods to maintain their popularity is GTA 5. Your huge community has joined forces multiple times to bring amazing ideas to life. The one that we will introduce you to today will blow your mind.
First you have to clarify something important. GTA 5, since its release on PC in mid-2015, has received a large number of mods. Perhaps the most popular, along with those that add role-playing mechanics, are those that offer new texture and modeling packs to take a visual leap. However, as the years go by, graphical mods have advanced almost at the same rate as hardware renovations.
The above has allowed GTA 5 to embrace technologies such as Ray Tracing (ray tracing), with which it is possible to generate reflections in real time. This is precisely what it offers QuantV 3.0, a realistic graphics mod that completely changes the look of GTA 5. In fact, in the video below it seems that we are looking at a new generation game. It’s the kind of project that is unlikely to come from Rockstar Games.
Now, to display such an impressive graphic section in GTA 5 it is not enough to install QuantV 3.0. Digital Dreams, the YouTube channel responsible for the video, shared the specifications of their computer to give you an idea of the necessary components. AMD Ryzen 9 3900x processor, 32GB RAM memory, GPU Nvidia RTX 3090 (signed by Asus) and a 2TB SSD. Yes, it is a high end computer that is not within the reach of any pocket.
