Most everyone at Kirkwood Community College is familiar with the construction currently happening in Linn Hall. There have been tweets about the walking path on the second floor and discussion about the Linn Hall “detours” in and out of the right wing of the building. What most people aren’t aware of is what everything is going to look like when it’s all finished.

On April 19, Kirkwood Community College held the annual awards banquet to honor clubs, organizations and teams on campus. The “Black and White Affair” was held at the Hotel at Kirkwood.

On April 22, 1,100 flags adorned the hill between Linn Hall and Kirkwood halls. Each flag represented a life lost to suicide.

On Tuesday, April 16, Holocaust survivor Renee Firestone will talk about her experiences at 11 a.m. in Iowa Halls A and B at Kirkwood Community College Cedar Rapids campus.
