SIFE job fairs and deadlines fast approaching

"The workshops...will be with Morris Pounds but the big event [Job Fair] will have up to 75 employers and 52 will be giving interviews," illustrated Hilton.
SIFE has organized 23 information tables where students can gather information or speak with employers. The students who signed up for interviews with specific employers will have 25 minutes for a personal interview.
With over 300 employers invited to SIFE's first annual Job Fair, this is an opportunity for Kirkwood students to begin their career after completing their Associate's degree. "It's a great thing to get employers in here to see what Kirkwood is producing," said Hilton

With help from SIFE and these easy steps, nailing a job after graduation is a snap.
-Sign up for the Job Fair to let employers know you'll be present. Remember there are only 12 interview slots for each employer and they are limited to 25 minutes, so sign up early. Sign up dates include:
-March 21 from 8-10 a.m. in the Linn Hall lobby and 10 a.m. to noon in the Nielsen Hall lower level
-March 22 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Nielsen Hall lower lobby
-March 23 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Iowa City Campus lobby
-March 24 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Linn Hall lobby
-March 28 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Iowa Hall cafeteria
-Workshops will be available to teach how to prepare a resume and develop interviewing skills.
