KTS new season of classic movie scheduling
Once again Phil Brown of Distance Learning/English will provide a line-up of movies to air Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m. with the "Tumbleweed Theatre" and "At the Movies with Philm."
Kirkwood Automotive Technology Program
Appointments are now being accepted for oil changing, tire rotations, coolant flushes, transmission flushes, power steering flushes and brake inspections. Starting Oct. 17 appointments for brake diagnosis will also be taken.
Kirkwood enrollment totals for Fall 2005
Enrollment this fall has taken a slight downturn, decreasing 354 students from last year's figures. Administration points the finger toward data conversion to the new Colleague system.
Kirkwood among top of nation in degree study
In a recent National Community College study, Kirkwood ranked No. 29 of 1,200 schools in the U.S. The standings were published in Community College Week and were based on the 1,776 associate degrees granted in 2003-04.
Volleyball team begins season on winning side
With recent wins over Southwestern, Kishwaukee and Iowa Lakes, the Lady Eagles find themselves 14-5 overall and 1-0 in the conference.
