The Communiqué welcomes letters representing all points of view in an attempt to make the commentary section a forum for the many diverse views of the campus community. However, contents of the Communiqué and opinions on the commentary page are not necessarily endorsed by Kirkwood Community College, the Communiqué Editorial Board or the staff.

Letters must be no longer than 250 words and we reserve the right to cut for length, libel or profanity. Letters must be signed, including a phone number and an e-mail address. We do not run unsigned editorials.

Send letters to 113F Linn Hall, or communi@kirkwood.edu or mail in care of the Communiqué. Contact the main extension with any questions by calling 319-398-5444.

It is the policy of the Communiqué that hard news photos are never altered. However, some pictures may be labeled as "Photo Illustration" indicating alterations were made to the original photograph.

Unpublished articles, advertisements, photo illustrations and photographs are property of the Communiqué and will not be released to the public.

The Communiqué is a bi-weekly student publication written and designed by students at Kirkwood Community College.

Single copies are free to Kirkwood students and alumni. Subscriptions by mail are $6/ semester.
