Intramurals take off in '06

If you are looking for some extra activities to occupy your time, Kirkwood's spring intramural schedule has you covered.
Some of the premier events that have registration deadlines soon are Co-ed Wally Ball (Feb. 15) and Wiffle Ball (Feb. 22). Plus with others such as Badminton and Pick'em March Madness there is something for everybody.
Coming up later this term are Ultimate Frisbee, Sand Volleyball Tournament and a Co-ed Softball League.
Other singles intramurals include the strongest man/woman competition (March 8), Texas Hold'em Tournament (April 5) and the Softball Home-Run Derby (May 3) among many other single competitions.
Josh Troutman, recreation and housing director at Kirkwood, stated that he is trying to organize a wrestling tournament with other colleges.
