Remember when you were a kid playing Tecmo Super Bowl on the original Nintendo? It had a whopping 12 offensive plays, eight types of defenses, all of the guys looked the same and a quarterback could overthrow a wide-open receiver - ah, memories.

Now video games have taken a drastic turn, from that torrid state of gaming to the next generation of video games with the introduction of the X-box 360.

The 360 has changed gaming forever with the first ever high-definition ready video game console. A detachable hard drive and custom soundtracks also make a return, this time letting players download mp3s from the X-box Live Web page.

The 360 doesn't disappoint with Perfect Dark Zero, Dead or Alive 4 and the ever-popular Call of Duty 2 among many others. The 360 has something for everyone and to prove it here are the cream of the X-box 360 crop:

Call of Duty 2 - This game takes you to new places with breakneck graphics and realistic World War II settings. In this game you get the chance to be a member of all of nations involved in the war and fight the major battles. Gone is the video game tactic of shooting an opponent in the leg once for a kill. In this game you have to work at your aim - headshots are rewarded with pink gore flying out instead of the politically correct blood. If you love WW II and love first person shooters than Call of Duty 2 is for you.

Need for Speed Most Wanted - This ever-popular franchise is back with a vengeance, taking full advantage of the 360's ability to make a street racer's dream come true. In this game players take on the best street racers, building up a reputation by winning races and out-running police officers. This is the best racing title for the 360 and offers chances to do more than just drag race, as there are police chases, free rides and timed races.

For hardcore and novice gamers alike, the 360's hype has been everywhere, from the MTV launch special to ebay hawking them for upwards of $1,500 each. This machine has lived up to the hype and then some.

If, perhaps you are one of the individuals who have not had the oppitunity to get on board this gameing revolution, don't worry, this ride will be around for quite sometime.
