With all of the pressure of being a new fish in a huge pond, navigating the bookstore might be a treacherous journey for freshmen. The bookstore, which is located in Benton Hall, has a system of finding books that uses common course numbering.  The common course numbering sections are laid out in alphabetical order, so students should bring their schedule with them when they go to buy books. Craig Hoyer, a Liberal Arts major, said, "I found two of my books in 10 minutes so it's not bad. Plus, you have all these wonderful people working here."

According to Beth Dickey, the bookstore supervisor, the bookstore averages around 1,200 transactions a day.

Toni Jackson, a bookstore employee and fashion merchandising major, said helping students hasn't been a problem since "most of them know what they're doing."

The bookstore's hours are: Monday-Thursday 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. but after Friday, the bookstore goes back to its standard hours which are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
