The Communique still has a few remaining positions that have not yet been filled. Available positions include copy editor, layout editor, staff writer, photographer and cartoonist.
Qualifications for layout editor include intermediate to advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, a creative mind, ability to work well with people and an eye for detail and consistency.
Qualifications for copy editor include intermediate to advanced knowledge of AP Style, developed grammatical and spelling skills and ability to work well with people.
All editors must be available to work 10 hours per week at the student newspaper office on campus and attend all staff and editor meetings. For more information stop by the Communique office at 113F Linn Hall or call Sarah Wilson, adviser, at 319-398-7164.
