When one hears the word Halo, they may think of angels, peace and feelings of happiness. However, the word Halo in the video game world has a whole different meaning.
"Halo 3" for the Microsoft's XBOX 360 is the latest and final addition to the ever popular video game series. In the game players become Master Chief once again aided by troopers while fighting the pesky alien race in a battle to save Earth.
The game play itself is typical for the Halo franchise. The controls are easy to learn and unlike other games, this game fully utilizes wide screen television capabilities by allowing gamers to see incoming enemies from the side.
Like the other two popular games in the series "Halo 3" is a first person shooter and includes breathtaking graphics, above average multi-player options and various weapons.
One of the more popular changes is Forge. This allows gamers to create a multi player area to battle other players in and have weapons placed wherever they want. Also, unlike the other two games "Halo 3" allows gamers to pick alternate routes to complete the missions in shorter times or run into more enemies.
The other two additions include the return of the popular battle rifle and a new cooperation mission mode. This allows gamers and a friend to try and conquer the covenant together.
Many times fans of any series are let down by the grand finale; however, the finale of the "Halo" series is definitely not a disappointment.
