"The Hills" is a Laguna Beach spin-off centered around leading lady Lauren "LC" Conrad and follows her and girlfriends Audrina, Whitney, Heidi and Jen Bunny as they struggle to find the balance between friendship, fun and their futures. However, these days two of the main stars aren't exactly in friendly territory.
This all stems from last season when boy drama plagued "The Hills" girls and viewers saw one of the biggest fallouts in reality history. Most of the commotion stemmed from Lauren's hatred of Heidi's boyfriend (Spencer) and Jen Bunny's love for Lauren's then-boyfriend Brody.
The third installment of the reality series brings back a repeat of characters. Many viewers watched in horror as Jason, Lauren's Laguna Beach ex, made his return, just when we thought he was gone for good.
Also new to the show this season is Audrina's scruffy, commitment-phoebe man friend JustinBobby. And of course we can't forget about Heidi and Spencer. While Spencer continues to be unemployed, his more-ambitious half has recently moved up the corporate ladder at Bolthouse Studios. And while the newly-engaged couple have started making plans for their wedding, viewers may wonder if this might be the end of Lauren and Heidi.
Season 3 of "The Hills" is so far so good but it looks like we'll all have to stay tuned as this saga unfolds and Lauren and Heidi's friendship is put to the ultimate test.
"The Hills" airs Mondays at 9 p.m. on MTV.
