"Now that there is a Subway here at Kirkwood, I don't have to drive all the way to Edgewood Road. It's more convenient and very clean," said Megan Williams, Liberal Arts major.
"We've been really busy since we first opened," said Leah Packingham, Subway employee.
With the new Subway opening near campus, many Kirkwood students are eager to have a favorite close by. "It's nice to have another food option," said Jessica Wurzer, pre-med major.
Others agree. "I've actually been there once and its a nice place. I plan on going there today," said Zach Malloy, major undecided.
The newest fast food addition has replaced Curves, which has relocated to Edgewood Road next to Casey's General Store.
