Cedar Rapids police have arrested a former student accused of attempting to photograph a woman in a restroom stall on Kirkwood Community College’s main campus in February.
Daniel R. Krall, 23, was arrested on March 28 on a charge of invasion of privacy, according to police.
Krall admitted he intentionally filmed the victim “for the purpose of his own sexual
desire,” according to a criminal complaint filed in Linn County District Court. “The defendant admitted entering a woman’s bathroom stall in a building at the Kirkwood College campus and using a cell phone to photograph women who were using the bathroom stall next to him,” the complaint stated.
According to the Linn County Clerk’s Office, Krall awaits a hearing pending additional information from the Linn County attorney.
