CEDAR RAPIDS -- President Barack Obama will speak on the main campus of Kirkwood Community College on Tuesday. It will be his second visit to Cedar Rapids this year.

His speech in Johnson Hall  is expected start around 12:50 p.m.  The security required for this event and increased traffic may cause disruptions across campus during this time.

Access to campus via the main entrance will be limited. Students and staff are encouraged to use the south or east entrances, as the main entrance will close during the motorcade's entrance and exit.

The road between the bookstore and the Facilities building will be closed for the entire visit. Access to that area is restricted to ticket holders only. People without tickets will not be permitted to enter Johnson Hall.

Entry and exit to the Linn Hall parking lots will be affected during the motorcade's arrival and departure. Parking options may be limited in most lots due to increased traffic.
