Women defeat Southeastern CC, prepare to face ICCC

The Kirkwood Community College women's basketball team took a tough road trip to knock off the Southeastern Community College ladies on their home court, 70-56.

The Eagles have improved their record to 24 wins against only four losses. The ladies have not tasted defeat since the second week of November.  The team is incredibly balanced on both the offensive and defensive end.

This balance has been beneficial to the ladies when they have had trouble scoring they are able to create turnovers that lead to easy baskets.

Head Coach Kim Muhl will have the women ready for Saturday, Feb. 20 at Johnson Hall as they face Iowa Central Community College.  The game starts at 1 p.m.  Students, faculty, and staff are admitted free with a current EagleCard.

Official game statistics were not available at presstime but official stats can be viewed at the following link when they become available.
