Many people have already begun to think about the holidays, a season full of shopping, festivities, spending time with loved ones and giving back to those in need.

The Angel Trees displayed around campus offer Kirkwood Community College students, faculty and staff several ways to give back to local area residents.

Each Angel Tree is adorned with tags for the Willis Dady Emergency Shelter and Linn County Child Development Center. Just take a tag and check the website for more information on how to help. Participants are encouraged to buy gifts for children, families and the homeless.

According to the site, “Your gift, no matter how big or small, can make a difference to someone this holiday season.”

For more information and gift suggestions, visit www.kirkwood.edu/holidaygiving. All gifts must be returned to Student Life by Dec. 1.
