10 p.m. in Room 343 Cedar Hall, Kirkwood Community College will host its annual reading from the latest issue of the Cedar Valley Divide.

For more than 45 years art, poetry, fiction and non-fiction from students past and present, as well as members of the community, have been published in the school’s official literary magazine.

Faculty advisor and English professor Lisa Angelella offered this personal invitation.  “Coming to the reading is a way of feeling part of a literary community here on campus,” she said. “You can hear readings brought to life in the writer’s own voices. And refreshments will be served.”
