* The stained glass windows are from the First Christian Church, which was torn down due to the flood of 2008.

* Windows were designed by Louis Millet.

* According to kirkwoodonlinenews.org, the windows were a gift to the campus from the church because of the efforts of Arbe Bareis, Kirkwood Community College art instructor, who thought the art work would, "expand students' horizons."

* In addition to the windows, a large globe from the Eastern Iowa Airport is also on exhibit in Linn Hall, according to www.kirkwood.edu.
