For students who are having computer troubles or are just looking for new technology, the EagleTech store on the main campus in Cedar Rapids offers a wide variety of hardware, accessories and services.

Located in Benton Hall, EagleTech has been on campus for over a year. "We've had a very positive reception of the store and have made positive connections around campus," EagleTech Manager Nathan Wolter said. "We're here to help students," Wolter added.

Wolter stated that EagleTech is also looking to add to the services it provides by offering full unit replacements. "We'll be able to replace broken iPods and iPads completely and that should be a very welcome service," Wolter said.

This service would be added to a list of other services that EagleTech already provides. Wolter stated students have been very happy with EagleTech's one-on-one troubleshooting services.

"We're always willing to help out," said Wolter

Wolter stated students do not need to make appointments and they are welcome to drop in anytime they need help.

According to www.eagletech.kirkwood.edu, Kirkwood Community College students can get a discount on most goods and services the store offers. "Everything we do is with the student in mind," said Wolter

On May 6 EagleTech will be hosting its Techapalooza. Wolter stated that Techapalooza will be a big event that invites students to the store to look around at the latest technology, enjoy free food and prizes and just have a good time.
