To pass his class, you must be 'purr-fect'

In my time here at Kirkwood I've met some very strict instructors. If your cell phone rings during a test some instructors deduct 20 percent off your grade. If you get caught texting during a lecture some instructors ask you to leave the class and you get an "F" for the day. But during all the time I've been here I have never seen anyone as tough as one of the instructors who works in the small animal building on the main campus.

If you think college writing, plasma welding or advanced algebra is challenging, wait until you hear about this instructor's class. It is the hardest one you will find at Kirkwood. In fact, if students don't pass his class they are not allowed to leave campus.

The instructor's name is Roscoe and he teaches in the small animal building. His students are the dogs up for adoption. The canines have to get along with Roscoe to ensure they can be around small animals without hurting them.

When he is not administering tests, Roscoe hangs out in the lunchroom, wanders the halls or greets visitors. His classes are open to all canine students but human students are invited to stop by to pet him or just scratch his ears.
