It's the type of weather the Chicago Bears have played in before.  Besides the home field advantage, the Bears playing in rugged weather shows their character.  In spite of a one-hour 53-minute delay due to swirling winds, heavy rain and lightning last Sunday, the Bears overcame and achieved victory against the Baltimore Ravens.

After a Ravens touchdown earlier in the first quarter; field goal kicker Justin Tucker added three more points to the Ravens lead making it a 10 to nothing game against the Bears who, at the time, were lacking productivity.

When the game resumed the Bears first answer came with a David Bass interception for a touchdown with 8:38 left till half time.  Later, with two separate drives leading to two Robbie Gould field goals and another Baltimore touchdown, the halftime score was 17-13.

Josh McCown had a hold of the reigns.  He threw 19-of-31, ran 216 yards and scored a touchdown.  Matt Forte had 125 yards from scrimmage, 83 yards rushing on 18 carries and 42 receiving yards with a touchdown from five catches.  Alshon Jeffery totaled 100 yards, 83 receiving and 17 rushing.  On the defensive side Julius Peppers accumulated sack numbers three and four.
