Whenever fuel is running low, students are put in the predicament of which gas station to go to. Fortunately for Kirkwood Community College students there are two gas stations located right next to campus: Kum&Go and Casey's. But which is better?

Casey's General Store is famous for their all-day pizzas, ranging from Breakfast to Meat Galore. The store also has a Blimpie sandwich shop.

Customers can sign up to receive coupons or have a Casey's Credit Card that gives up to 10 cents off per gallon. Hy-vee customers are also able to use their Fuel Saver cards at the pumps.

While the Casey's is older, it is also better known because the company has stations throughout the area. Sometimes Casey's seems the better choice because it is the first one after coming off of the I-380 exit. Casey's is open from 6 a.m. until 11 p.m.

Right next door Kum&Go offers more gas pumps for more customers.

Since the Kum&Go is newer, the inside appears to be cleaner and brighter. It also has a Redbox outside for convenient movie rentals. Kum&Go is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

Inside the store shoppers can find a plethora of items they might need, ranging from greeting cards to sliced fruit and even the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte. While the food offered isn't famous pizza or a sub shop, Kum&Go offers their own freshly made menu. The menu includes baked goods, snacks and healthier options.

Shoppers can tell that Kum&Go puts the 'convenient' into convenience store with its variety and open hours. Meanwhile Casey's appeals to those looking for famous pizza and savings opportunities.
